Willy Herrera has always been a perfectionist – and the 75+ different blends he experimented with for the original Herrera Estelí blend serve as testament to his dedication. The reward of his rigorous and passionate blending … his pursuit of perfection in balance, of consistency in taste, and of excellence in performance was worth it, gifting us the Herrera Estelí Habano.
Throughout the blending process, numerous cigars emerged as potential winners, but the final blend was the one that truly wowed Willy, and it continues to wow us today. Herrera Estelí Habano is a perfectly balanced cigar, featuring traditional Cuban entubado bunching and a stunning triple-cap. This Cuban-esque blend employs an Ecuador Habano wrapper overtop Honduran binder and Nicaraguan filler-leaves, delivering a masterful smoking experience woven with notes of baking spices, a woodsy core, and buttery nutmeg.
